I grew up here, and yet I get to discover new things all the time. For me, the best thing about Mayrhofen is the contrast between the alpine small town and the complete tranquility that I enjoy when I am in the woods and mountains. Probably ten lifetimes wouldn't be enough to see everything. I would go to Mayrhofen for a weekend with friends just as I would go for summer and winter holidays with the whole family.
